We are looking for an experienced Financial Manager to join our client in the FMCG manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will oversee the full finance function, including accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership. This role requires ERP experience and strong hands-on financial management expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and reporting

• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections

• Manage and review creditors reconciliations

• Handle VAT and Income Tax calculations and submissions to SARS

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Companies Act, Tax Laws, and internal policies

• Support audits, statutory reporting, and annual budget preparation

• Manage liquidity, payables, receivables, and foreign payments

• Lead and develop a finance team  

• Drive financial process improvements, cost efficiencies, and business intelligence projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Honours preferred)

• CA (SA) advantageous

• Accredited to a professional accounting body (SAICA)

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in FMCG / Manufacturing as a Financial Manager

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and ERP systems

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Desirable

• Manufacturing finance experience with costing methodology and variance analysis

• Experience with SAP ideal

• Ability to start immediately will be highly advantageous
